The Canine Connect team is a leader in behaviour modification programs and understands that not all dogs or behaviours are suitable for a group class environment. Canine Connect offers Private Training for dogs and handlers who need a little more one-on-one time with professional guidance.
Whether you’re dealing with behavioural issues, brushing up on old skills, wanting to try something new, or just wanting some one-on-one time, ‘Private Appointments’ are a great option.
To date, Canine Connect has five nationally recognised Dog Training & Behaviour Consultants under our umbrella, which means we can offer several appointment times throughout the week and weekend to suit all needs.
Available at two locations, Hedgegrove Kennels & Cattery in Golden Grove and Windamere Kennels & Cattery in Clarendon.
First appointments are 45 minutes in length, during which our trainers will better understand you, your dog, and the issues you are facing. Each participant will receive an assessment email with homework and our recommendations for the future.
We strongly suggest booking a ‘Dayschool’ session with our trainers before a private appointment so we can work with your dog and perform our own assessment of their level and behaviour. This is not a requirement, only a recommendation.

Our trainers do not take more than 3 sessions per day and are booked well in advance. All sessions must be purchased upfront to confirm appointments. No refunds are given for cancellations with less than 48 hours’ notice.
