Yes No Section BreakSignatureCANINE CONNECT PTY LTD TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR TRAINING SESSIONS General You acknowledge and accept that by attending a Training Session you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of Canine Connect Pty Ltd ACN 609 720 792 (“Canine Connect”). In these terms and conditions: “Training Session“ shall include: 1. Group training sessions; 2. Private training sessions at your home; and/or 3. Private training sessions at a location determined by Canine Connect. Payment Payment is required in full before attendance at a Training Session. You cannot attend a Training Session without payment being received unless agreed in advance with Canine Connect. Once you have selected your date/s for a Training Session there will be no right to cancel or receive a refund for any session and Canine Connect is unable to provide any make up sessions. Class Postponement Policy You acknowledge that classes may be postponed in Canine Connect’s sole discretion in the event of heavy rain, storms, extreme winds or heat, or any other unsafe weather condition as determined by Canine Connect. Classes may also be postponed in the event that the instructor is too ill to teach, and a replacement cannot be found. Whenever a class is postponed, classes will resume the following week (circumstances permitting) and run for an additional week at the end of the course to make up for the missed session. You will be notified by email, sms or via Canine Connect’s Facebook page in the event of a postponement (using the contact details you provide to Canine Connect). It is your responsibility to ensure that the contact details you have provided are up to date and to check your email and texts and Canine Connect’s Facebook page ahead of your class. You agree to release Canine Connect from any and all liability arising from cancellation or postponement of a booking. Refunds All fees are non-refundable and non-transferable other than in exceptional circumstances at Canine Connect’s sole discretion. Any decision regarding refunds will be made on a case-by-case basis. Partial refunds / credits for missed classes will not be given. Please notify Canine Connect beforehand if you are unable to attend a class. Instructions You acknowledge and agree that you are responsible for the behaviour and actions of your dog while attending a Training Session. You agree to follow and adhere to the trainer’s instructions at all times, including all safety instructions, whether oral or written. Please keep dogs on leads at all times unless otherwise directed and do not use equipment until instructed to do so. Equipment is for dog use only and Canine Connect takes no responsibility for loss or damages that may occur when equipment is in use. Photo Release You agree that any photos taken of you and/or your dog while attending a Training Session may be used in marketing or promotional material, or for any other reason by Canine Connect. You agree and give Canine Connect permission to publish in print, electronic, or video format the likeness or image of you and/or your dog. You release all claims against Canine Connect with respect to privacy rights, publicity rights, copyright and publication, including any claim for compensation related to use of the materials. Health You acknowledge that it is your responsibility to ensure that your dog is fit and healthy and not suffering from any condition which may be aggravated by taking part in a Training Session. Canine Connect recommends that all dogs are vaccinated as recommended by your vet and verification of such vaccinations may be requested. If in doubt about your dog’s health please consult your vet prior to attendance. Waiver You understand and agree that attendance at a Training Session will not necessarily cure your dog’s behaviour, aggression or other problems. You acknowledge that Canine Connect does not guarantee that your dog will do or cease doing any specific behaviour after training. Acceptance of Risk You acknowledge and agree that participation in any Training Session is at your risk. You acknowledge that attendance at Training Sessions may pose risk to yourself, your family members or your dog. By your attendance, you understand and expressly assume the risk of any damage, injury or illness to yourself, your dog and/or any other person attending a Training Session suffered as a result of a Training Session. You acknowledge that attendance at a Training Session may result in serious injury or even death to dogs and/or people. You agree that you are voluntarily attending this activity with knowledge of the danger involved, and agree to assume any and all risks of bodily injury, death or property damage, whether those risks are known or unknown. Release You release, and agree to hold harmless Canine Connect, and all persons connected with Canine Connect from all liability for injury, death, loss or damage of any kind whatsoever that may occur to you or your dog attending a Training Session. Amendments Canine Connect reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time. You are encouraged to review the terms and conditions periodically.
