2024-02-29

It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.

Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."

Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull) Comment: We started on his loose lead today, working just in the carpark. We were able to build some solid engagement - he responds much better to high energy from the trainer! If you’re having fun, so is he. There were a few dog distractions throughout the session but we were able to hold his focus as they moved past - again increasing our excitement to keep him interested in us. Focus: Distraction B
Skill learnt: Drop/ Down Comment: This session we worked outside and inside the classroom. Working on his drop durations, repetition and adding some trainer distractions. TJ showed some solid understanding of his drops, getting into position quickly. He did get a bit distracted on the grass so this was a great area to practice duration - building impulse control around the nice smells. Focus: Distraction C+
Skill learnt: Place Training Comment: For his last session we practiced his place skill on the grass. He showed some awesome engagement, not getting as distracted by the grass this session. We did a mixture of quick repetition and longer durations with trainer distraction. We had lots of fun this session, running around with lots of energy - working on his settling skills. Focus: Distraction B

We recommend your next step should be…
