2024-02-22

It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.

Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."

Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Place Training Comment: For her first session we worked on place in the classroom around 2 other dogs. While Tessa had barked at a dog before her session while in her crate she had no issues working around the 2 in the classroom. Her place was quite solid though she did break for the word "cuddles" instead of waiting for her release word! Her send to place is great and she paid no attention to the other dogs going to and from place. We did a little bit of play with tug but she anticipated being sent to place and started just doing that instead of playing! Such a clever girl! Focus: Distraction B+
Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull) Comment: For her second session we worked on loose lead in the cattery. Tessa was very distracted by the rabbits moving around but did OK around the cats. She did pull towards the rabbits quite often so we worked at a distance to help condition her to them. She did improve a bit over the session but would startle if they suddenly moved so we will keep working on this with her. Focus: Conditioning C+
Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull) Comment: For her last session we finished off with some loose lead in the classroom around another dog. Tessa did well but did get a bit distracted when the other trainer started bouncing tennis balls around! Even so she was able to refocus nicely so keep up the good work with her! Focus: Distraction B
