We noticed Sarai seemed a little more switched on today. We would like to ask that you don’t give her clomi-calm for her next dayschool to see if it was just coincidence or whether missing the dose made a difference to her engagement.

| Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull) | Comment: Sarai was excitable to begin with but settled a lot quicker today. She was less vocal and was able to engage with the trainer quicker - even when people (men) walked past us in the carpark. We practiced her loose lead and sit skill up and down the carpark. She didn’t seem as bothered by the dogs barking behind the shade cloth today. | Focus: Distraction | C+ |
| Skill learnt: Drop/ Down | Comment: This session we focused on her loose lead and drops. We worked outside, moving around the carpark and up the driveway. She was a bit distracted this session and was rubbing her muzzle into the ground frequently - try and stop her when she does this, redirect her focus back to you. | Focus: Distraction | B |
| Skill learnt: Place Training | Comment: Lastly we worked on her drops and place outside again. She did well this session, showing good focus and settling. She did bark and pull towards another dog moving through the carpark but once out of sight she recovered quickly. When she reacted we created distance and redirected her into a drop - the muzzle was really important here as she did try to turn and bite/tug the lead. We recommend coming back in for some more 1-on-1 sessions to keep working on your handling and discuss some training! | Focus: Distraction | B |

B: Great Work (80-89%) I mostly understand, Almost neat & complete! Needs practice in some areas. Mild distractions
C: Well Done (70-79%) Some good progress. Needs work, but on my way. Still learning. Low distractions.
D: Beginning (60-69%) My journey is just beginning, I don’t understand just yet. Introduction phase. No distraction.
E: Unable to Progress. Needs major focus, seek further options to assist.
X: Not gradable, the focus was on Enrichment, Socialisation & Engagement.
