Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Conditioning Comment: First session Jess went through scent work and demonstrated how to start the skill and progress it. During the session Pickle worked on his indicating which was a bit of a challenge in the class environment with everything going on around him. He did indicate at the empty canister a few times but also did some successful indications. Focus: Conditioning X
Skill learnt: Drop/ Down Comment: Pickles second session we worked on his drop. Focusing on holding his duration around dog and food distractions while also building on his distance. He smashed it today! Whilst a bit cheeky wriggling around in the start while the trainer was moving around but by the end of the session he was happy to just hold his drop even when the trainer was chucking high value treats in his direction! Good job pickle pants! Focus: Distraction B+
Skill learnt: Conditioning Comment: Final session Pickle worked on some more scent work. This session we continued working on his indicating. Starting with holding the canisters out and rewarding when he indicates to the one with the scent before moving the canisters a further distance away. He indicated to the one with the scent more often this session than the first one. Focus: Conditioning C+
