Opal's Doggy Dayschool Report

2024-02-13

It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.

Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."

Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull) Comment: For her first session we worked on loose lead out at the Pony club oval. Opal loves going over there and was pretty good with her loose lead (only minor pulls every now and then). She knows exactly what to do with the jump obstacles now and happily hopped up for some photos! She was a bit more pully on the way back to Hedgegrive but listened well to her markers. Focus: Distraction B
Skill learnt: Paws Up (on object) Comment: For her second session we did some paws up onto pods as something fun to work on. We used two smaller pods to get her to put one foot on each one. Opal did pretty well with this though had to be heavily lured each time so next time we can start reducing the lure for this skill. Focus: Repetition B
Skill learnt: Trick Training Comment: For her last session we continued working on the nail board with Opal. She did paws up on it once or twice but was a bit tired this session so didn't make a lot of effort for the skill today. She had no issues with the trainer handling her paws to help her with it though! Focus: Foundation C

We recommend your next step should be…
