2024-03-27

It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.

Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."

Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Drop/ Down Comment: First session Maggie worked on her drop foundations, today she wasn’t super interested in following a treat lure to go into a sit or drop position. The trainer worked on different methods (from sit, from stand and under the leg) to try and help Maggie into the position, she was begin to go into a sit or start to bow down before quickly popping back up not fully completing the skill. Maggie still needs work with this as she can get quite distracted by sounds around her and this can put her off her training. Keep working on this at home helping her to understand the final position. Focus: Foundation X
Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull) Comment: Second session Maggie worked on her loose lead. Today we worked in the carpark for added distractions. Maggie did well keeping the pace with her trainer and following direction change. She did get a bit distracted by another trainer and dog in the distance but by creating space between them she settled back into her walking and re-engaging with her trainer. Keep working on this at home. Focus: Distraction C+
Skill learnt: Place Training Comment: Maggie’s final session she worked on her place skill. We worked in the cattery to push the skill in new environments. She was quite confident heading into the Cattery and happy to remain on the bed while the trainer took slow, small steps around her. She did step off a few times but was easily redirected back onto the bed. Keep working on this at home! Focus: Distraction C+
