| Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull) | Comment: For his first session we worked with the ice pool for some confidence building and then moved onto loose lead and drops around Beani. Kombi was good with the ice though was having fun eating it rather than going into it! For his loose lead he walked nicely but would sometimes sit instead of drop if the trainer's voice was a bit softer so there is room for improvement in this skill. | Focus: Distraction | B |
| Skill learnt: Place Training | Comment: For his second session we worked on send to place in the classroom around Beani. Throughout the session we were able to build the distance from one small step away to two small steps away and finishing by being able to send him to place from the end of the lead. Good improvement on yesterday's work! | Focus: Distance | C+ |
| Skill learnt: Trick Training | Comment: For his last session we worked on the bye-bye skill. Kombi was nicely focused for this today and after some shake paw reps we moved into the bye bye skill. He was very low and quick with his paw at the start but was able to build a bit of duration in this by the end. Such a fun skill to do with Kombi when he is focused! | Focus: Repetition | B |
