| Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull) | Comment: This session focused on some loose lead walking. We started in the carpark without any dog distractions but made our way closer to the kennel runs. This environment has plenty of high energy dog distractions to work around. Kardi did so well, she occasionally lost focus but we were able to create distance and try again. By the end of the session we were walking up and down, past the dogs and Kardi was super engaged! | Focus: Distraction | B |
| Skill learnt: Drop/ Down | Comment: We worked on her drop duration this session. She has shown improvement since her last session. The trainer was able to stand up completely and take a slow/small step away from her while she held position! Keep building this up slowly, remember to do it slowly and if she keeps breaking position early, you know the distractions are too much! | Focus: Duration | C+ |
| Skill learnt: Place Training | Comment: This last session was all about place training outside. We focused on trainer distractions while she remained on the bed. We were able to sit out of reach, run around the bed and even do silly dance moves! She did break position for super quick movements so we built it up slowly! Try this at home, see if she can hold place for some silly dance moves - remember: we want to proof her skills for as many random things as possible! | Focus: Distraction | B |
