It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.

Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."

Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull) Comment: Harvey was a bit cheeky coming out if the kennels so we did a little bit of door manners before moving onto loose lead outside. It did take him a minute or so to settle down and stop pulling ahead but once he got back into routine he did fairly well. We even did some loose lead on the grass - he was more distracted here but again settled down quickly. He did watch the other dog working nearby but besides a little pulling was able to ignore it. His drops while walking were really good too! Focus: Distraction B
Skill learnt: Place Training Comment: For his second session we worked on the place skill outside around another dog. Harvey was very distracted by the other dog initially and kept turning around but after a minute or so he lost interest and focused back on the trainer. We worked on movement distractions which he did well with though had a few early breaks. His send to place was really good outside though! Keep building his distraction levels at home and increasing his send to distance. Focus: Distraction B
Skill learnt: Drop/ Down Comment: For his last session we worked on drops in the classroom with multiple trainers in the room (one cleaning with a mop). He was a bit slow into his drops at the start when he was excitable but sharpened them up quickly. He did really well with movement distractions but does break sometimes with the trainer crouched in front of him at eye level especially if they are excitable towards him. Keep working on this at home, we can see the improvement in him from his prior dayschools! Focus: Distraction B
