2024-02-12

It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.

Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."

Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull) Comment: We started with loose lead today, and Crystal did really well. She had great engagement, continuously checking in with her trainer. We incorporated outside turns into the loose lead, and Crystal did great. We started to incorporate auto sits as-well. Crystal struggled with this slightly, sitting more In front of the trainer than to their side - this is something that can be developed further in the future. Focus: Repetition B+
Skill learnt: Targeting (touch) Comment: We continued to work on Crystals kiss skill. This is developing quickly and she has great enthusiasm while learning this. Working on this skill further we can strengthen the “kiss” command, and begin to remove the hand lure. Focus: Repetition B
Skill learnt: Desensitisation Comment: To work on Crystals confidence, we began to teach the “paw” command. This will also improve Crystals paw conditioning, making vet trips and grooming a breeze! She did very well, keeping great engagement. We asked Crystal for her paw by first showing her a handfull of treats and rewarding when she paws at the hand. She quickly understood what the goal was and we have begun incorporating the “paw” command. Working on this skill further, we can begin showing Crystal an open hand and asking for paw. Focus: Desensitisation C+

We recommend your next step should be…
