It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.

Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull) Comment: First session Bingo worked outside on his loose lead. We added some drops and lured spins while walking to help build his engagement. Bingo was quite unengaged for the first part of the session and pulling quite a bit, we put him in a drop allowing him time to regulate his energy. By the end of the session we was walking better and had no interest in the dog near by or male staff member moving about. Keep working on his leash skills at home, utilise obedience before leaving for the walk to help him engage more. Focus: Obedience C+
Skill learnt: Middle Position Comment: Second session Bingo worked on his middles skill. He is getting so good at this and beginning to prefer coming from in front of the trainer. We worked on positioning ourselves at different angles to help push the skill further instead of him just being directly in front or behind the trainer. He still needs a lure for movement but is progressing well, keep up the good work at home! Focus: Repetition B
Skill learnt: Trick Training Comment: Bingos final session we worked on some trick training. Sticking to our festive Fido theme we started teaching Bingo to wave! Trick training is great mental stimulation and confidence building for our dogs while also learning something cool along the way. To teach this we held out our hand as bingo went to give us his paw we moved our hand away so it didn’t make contact, like a wave then rewarded with a yes. Bingo is still in early stages and can be quick and try to hit you with his paw. Keep working on this at home Focus: Foundation B

We recommend your next step should be…
