It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.

Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."

Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Place Training Comment: For her very first session we took her for a little explore around the property before diving into some place training. Bella was a bit distracted and not too keen on taking treats but she responded well to verbal and physical praise! Bella did try to jump on the trainer initially but we said uh uh and walked away from her. We then asked for a sit skill, while attaching the lead. Focus: Foundation C+
Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull) Comment: We worked on some loose lead walking this session, using the reward marker “yes” and a treat to reinforce good decisions. Bella did pull quite heavily this session so we focused on lots of turns and keeping her engaged through excitement. She showed some improvement but keep practicing this in a low distracting environment (where possible). Each time she pulls on the lead, stop and go the other way! Focus: Foundation C+
Skill learnt: Drop/ Down Comment: For Bella’s last session we worked on some drop duration. She showed some knowledge of the position but lacked duration. We were able to build some duration today, by luring her into position, saying “break” after a few seconds and then rewarding her. The drop skill is a really important control position, it helps with redirecting jumping and unwanted behaviours. Keep working on this at home, building the duration up slowly. Remember to work in low distracting environments first! Focus: Foundation C+

We recommend your next step should be…
