Arthur's Doggy Dayschool Report

2024-02-21

It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.

Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."

Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Place Training Comment: We started with some place training in the classroom. Working on his duration with food distraction. While on place the trainer spelt his name out with his biscuits. He did so well to ignore these tempting biscuits. Keep pushing him with different and fun things. Focus: Distraction B+
Skill learnt: Obstacle Course (Confidence Building) Comment: We went through the confidence course again today! This time he was a bit quicker but still got stuck with the see saw and wobble bridge. He was a bit more stubborn today, but we got him through eventually. It’s good for him not to give in, he needs that little push out of his comfort zone. Focus: Confidence B
Skill learnt: Targeting (touch) Comment: Lastly we did some targeting with the touch stick. He was quite tired after his first two sessions and being a warm day we didn’t want him over-doing it. He showed more interest in the touch stick today which is great - more successful repetitions. Focus: Repetition B

We recommend your next step should be…
