Kobe is a young Rottweiler puppy who has been working hard at our Day Schools. During his time with us, he has been building some great obedience foundations, developing his focus and learning to work with his handler despite distractions.
Because Kobe is still a young pup, being around other dogs can be very exciting for him. As he’s grown in his training, we’ve started helping him manage that excitement by providing the right exposure and guiding him on how to handle those situations more calmly.
Using the skills he has been building, Kobe is learning how to stay more neutral around other dogs and other exciting things in the environment. Instead of getting overly worked up, he’s learning to slow down, stay engaged with his handler, and make better choices. Kobe’s parents have also been doing an awesome job continuing the work at home, and that consistency is really helping him progress.
We’re really proud of the progress he’s making and excited to watch him continue to grow.
