2023-09-19

It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.

Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."

Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull) Comment: Zoltan started the day working on his loose lead with dog distraction. We did this in the carpark next to another dog also training, aswell as being overlooked by 2 other dogs who wanted to greet Zoltan's attention. Zoltan stayed by his trainer the whole time, losing engagement once but was completely reliable the rest of the lesson. Focus: Distraction A
Skill learnt: Recall Comment: We went for a walk around the facility focusing on his loose lead while adding in recalls while on the long line. Zoltan ignored his trainer the first two times but with a quick reminder Zoltan came back consistently from that point onwards. His engagement wavered a bit but he consistently did what was asked. Focus: Obedience B+
Skill learnt: Trick Training Comment: We finished with the bow skill in the classroom. We lured him with a treat before marking yes and rewarding. Once Zoltan understood what we were asking him to do, we then added in the verbal "bow". This was very tiring for Zoltan to keep going into this position so we have him a treat every now and then for some play and cuddles. Focus: Foundation B
