Zoltan's Doggy Dayschool Report

It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.

Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."

Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull) Comment: For his first session today the trainer thought it best to take him for a bit of a loose lead and recall session as to really get him focused and working with the trainer. He did amazing for this session, not only did he sit at every single door way for the trainer he didn’t pull at all today even when Zimba was distracting him! He also was checking in great and responding really well to the lead pressure as well! All in all it was a great session and got him nice and locked on for the rest of the day! Focus: Manners A
Skill learnt: Crate Training Comment: For his second session today the trainer worked on Zoltan’s Crate training but also did a little peek-a-boo as well! He is coming along well with his crate training and today Sam made a few observations about this training. He was easily able to get Zoltan into the wider longer crate today but when attempting the longer but thinners crate he really wasn’t keen on getting in, Sam believes this is due to him not having enough space to turn around so making sure we have a larger enough crate for him to turn around but not larger enough he has lots of space is vital in not only getting him in a crate but being comfortable as well, he was getting in and out of the crate for the trainer today and they didn’t even need to toss treats! As this isn’t his favourite thing to do so the trainer finished the session out with some peek-a-boo and lots of praise and treats to keep his positive energy flowing for his last session! Focus: Confidence C+
Skill learnt: Trick Training Comment: For his final session today the trainer wanted to have a bit of fun and so worked on a trick skill of touch! Since he knows this the trainer raised the criteria today and instead of offering the object close to Zoltan they actually got him in a sit, created some distance and then asked him to touch a wooden spoon. Initially he was a little confused as he wasn’t use to breaking out of his sit but eventually he crossed that threshold and was happily getting up to touch the wooden spoon as you can see in his video for the day! Sam is very impressed with his development and how well he is doing, keep up the amazing work at home and can’t wait to see you at a Saturday class when you guys get back! Focus: Repetition B+
