Zoltan was so happy to train today! He showed us some lovely engagement and improvement with his skills.
It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.
Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

|We focused on
|Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull)
|Comment: This session we worked around some very challenging dog distractions. We started in the pet retreat corridor, going up and down. He showed no interest in those dog distractions. We moved outside closer to the runs, here we worked around a very high energy, noisy dog! Zoltan did pull towards this dog a couple times so we increased our distance and focused on building his engagement. He improved quickly, we also found having him on our right as we walked past (so he wasn’t up against the fence) helped a lot! There was definitely no negative intentions on his behalf, just excitement and wanting to get closer. His engagement improved heaps throughout the session!
|Skill learnt: Spin
|Comment: We had some fun practicing his spins while walking. Zoltan followed a lure nicely and was spinning perfectly by our side. This is a great way to build engagement and have some fun while on your walks. As you’re walking along, lure him away from you (to his left) around and then back to your side to continue walking. As he improves you can make the lure smaller and smaller.
|Skill learnt: Place Training
|Comment: This last session worked on his place and drop skills. Both using the long line so we could send to or create some distance. Zoltan did so well, he broke position a couple times but followed the trainers guidance back into position easily. Keep working on creating that distance with his skills.
We recommend your next step should be…
A: Outstanding (90 – 100%) I understand my training, Neat & Complete! Ready to move on to higher difficulty & distraction
B: Great Work (80-89%) I mostly understand, Almost neat & complete! Needs practice in some areas. Mild distractions
C: Well Done (70-79%) Some good progress. Needs work, but on my way. Still learning. Low distractions.
D: Beginning (60-69%) My journey is just beginning, I don’t understand just yet. Introduction phase. No distraction.
E: Unable to Progress. Needs major focus, seek further options to assist.
X: Not gradable, the focus was on Enrichment, Socialisation & Engagement.
