2023-11-29

It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.

Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."

Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Recall Comment: Zimba has a very good recall inside under low distractions. He worked with ease around other dogs and people. Increasing distractions by going outside also didn’t phase him, next time we will work next to some of our more reactive dogs to further proof his loose leash skills. Focus: Distraction B+
Skill learnt: Desensitisation Comment: Unfortunately I couldn’t find an umbrella, but he was also unsure around people with large headphones on. So working with what we had, encouraging engagement and rewarding him for having faith in his handler. I had never worked with him before, but he learnt very quickly he didn’t need to be nervous because I wouldn’t let his trigger within his threshold. I rewarded him for acknowledging what made him uncomfortable, but then turning his attention towards me and maintaining a loose leash which in turn didn’t apply any unnecessary pressure to him. Focus: Desensitisation B
Skill learnt: Targeting (touch) Comment: Today I taught Zoltan “touch” this was a fun engagement game to finish our session. He’s a very smart boy and picked this up with ease. Focus: Repetition B+

We recommend your next step should be…
