Zimba's Doggy Dayschool Report

It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.

Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."

Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Place Training Comment: Zimba had place first up today and the trainer did the session near the office. Zimba broke a number of times trying to sniff things but as the session progressed this happened less and less. He also did a great job when customers arrived and although very interested Zimba worked hard to stay on place! The trainer will keep pushing Zimba with higher level distractions. Focus: Distraction B
Skill learnt: Drop/ Down Comment: Next up was flop. Zimba started well with this and was going into position well and was starting to hold it better. However halfway through the session he started to refuse to drop. So the trainer mixed it up and started getting Zimba used to the scales. He managed to get two paws on by the end. The trainer will work on this when Zimba is in so that going forward he is not frightened of this at the vets! Focus: Repetition D+
Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull) Comment: Loose lead walking was Zimba’s last session and he did a great job with trainer changing direction if he pulled. His engagement was fantastic until he saw another dog. This will continue to be a distraction the trainers work with for Zimba. He did pull his focus back reasonably quickly which was great. But still work to be done. Focus: Distraction C+
