Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull) Comment: Zimba’s first session was a little confidence walk with loose lead through the kennels and some of the other noiser parts of the property. Zimba was hesitant but also inquisitive which was great to see. He didn’t react to any of the dogs and was quite happy at the head heading to the classroom. Well done Zimba. Focus: Conditioning B
Skill learnt: Obstacle Course (Confidence Building) Comment: The confidence course was next up for Zimba and he was very hesitant to go into the course today. However once in Zimba did a great job and went around the course a number of times. Focus: Repetition X
Skill learnt: Recall Comment: Last session for Zimba was recalls. The trainer took Zimba into the grassed area with a long lead. However this proved to much for Zimba and there was no engagement at all. The trainer put Zimba back on a slip lead and did recalls on this and had more success. The trainer called Zimba and had to use leash pressure to encourage Zimba to come. The trainer didn’t use the word Va until sure that Zimba was going to come. Keep practicing at home. Make sure Zimba has perfect recall in the back yard with all those distractions before doing it in public. Focus: Distraction C+

We recommend your next step should be…
