Zimba tried hard and worked hard.
It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.
Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Conditioning||Comment: Zimba’s first session was water conditioning. He was great around the hose while putting water into the shell pool. Although he didn’t touch the water coming out of the hose he was not retreating if it came near him. The trainers are not keeping the water very deep and Zimba’s confidence is getting better to the point he again nearly put his foot in the pool. At home try with a small bowl of water with some of his favourite treats in it!||Focus: Desensitisation||C+|
|Skill learnt: Trick Training||Comment: Next up for Zimba was hanky pull. The trainer put the hanky in a cone for Zimba to pull it out. Zimba was quite interest in the hanky and the trainer rewarded Zimba when he showed that interest. As the session progressed however, unless the trainer actually held the hanky Zimba wouldn’t grab it. Next time it will be good to have Zimba start to grab the hanky independently.||Focus: Repetition||C+|
|Skill learnt: Recall||Comment: Lastly for Zimba was recall. Without the dog distraction, Zimba did a great job. At times Zimba found smells he didn’t want to leave but other times Zimba was able to listen and return to the trainer. Next time the trainer will start to add dog distractions in again and work towards Zimba resisting those distractions. Fantastic effort from Zimba! Awesome work.||Focus: Repetition||B|
