Zephyr's Doggy Dayschool Report

It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.

Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."

Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Place Training Comment: Zephyr’s first session was place. He has a good grasp of what is place is but no duration. He wanted to hop off as soon as he was on there. Throughout the session the trainer worked with Zephyr and his duration and by the end of the session the trainer was able to walk away from him without Zephyr following. There was also dog and people distraction and Zephyr worked hard to ignore these. Next time it will be good to see Zephyr settle into place quicker. Focus: Distraction C
Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull) Comment: The next session was loose lead walking. Zephyr did struggle at first with this and was pulling and bouncing around all over the place. The trainer kept changing direction and Zephyr started engaging with the trainer more. It was great to see. Next time the trainer would like to work on there being less bouncing in front of the trainer. Focus: Distraction C
Skill learnt: Recall Comment: Zephyr’s final session was recall. The trainer started with just a normal length lead to start with and Zephyr did take a bit of convincing to come away from the distractions. He did well though as the session progressed and next time the trainer will start to use a longer lead. Focus: Repetition C
