Zazu is a very clever girl that thrives with training and boundaries. She progressed very quickly with each of her skills today.
It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.
Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!
"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."
|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Drop/ Down||Comment: For her first session we worked on drops with Zazu. Zazu showed no real knowledge of drop but did happily follow a lure from a stand into a full drop. Initially her duration was quite poor but she increased her duration quite quickly throughout the session and even put herself into a drop to relax at the end of the session (and held it while other people and dogs moved around).||Focus: Foundation||B|
|Skill learnt: Place Training||Comment: Zazu took to place very quickly. Initially she would move off quickly but like with her drop she builds duration very quickly. She was able to maintain her place skill while the trainer took several steps back which is great progress. She did a great job at mostly ignoring the other dogs in the classroom (even when distracted she could be redirected very easily).||Focus: Foundation||B+|
|Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull)||Comment: For her last session we worked on loose lead in the classroom. Zazu had good engagement for most of the session but could be easily distracted by people or dogs moving nearby. She followed the lure easily and responded well to her yes marker.||Focus: Foundation||B|
|Skill learnt: Crate Training||Comment: Zazu was a bit noisy in her crate but did settle eventually with someone in the room.||Focus: Conditioning||X|
We recommend your next step should be…
A: Outstanding (90 – 100%) I understand my training, Neat & Complete! Ready to move on to higher difficulty & distraction
B: Great Work (80-89%) I mostly understand, Almost neat & complete! Needs practice in some areas. Mild distractions
C: Well Done (70-79%) Some good progress. Needs work, but on my way. Still learning. Low distractions.
D: Beginning (60-69%) My journey is just beginning, I don’t understand just yet. Introduction phase. No distraction.
E: Unable to Progress. Needs major focus, seek further options to assist.
X: Not gradable, the focus was on Enrichment, Socialisation & Engagement.
