Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull) Comment: For something different and more of a challenge, Zac began his day practicing his ‘loose lead’ walking at the pony club next door with a little cocker spaniel. He did awesome!!! He had the best engagement, even in a new environment, and listened for his ‘sit’ command and performed them beautifully. Keep up the awesome work with his distractions, he is the goodest boy and we would love for his engagement to remain strong. Focus: Distraction A
Skill learnt: Recall Comment: Next up, Zac worked on his ‘recall’ skill outside, working around the cocker spaniel again and Tessa. He had immaculate engagement again and came exactly as told. Tessa did not seem to bother him one bit and was solely focused on the trainer. Keep up the awesome work with this skill as the stronger it is, the better. Focus: Distraction A
Skill learnt: Paws Up (on object) Comment: To finish up, Zac practiced his ‘paws up’ skill using our new, big wobble board. He did really well! He comfortably was able to place his front 2 paws on, so the trainer attempted to get him to take 1 step further and get a 3rd paw on there. He was much more hesitant with this and would instead walk over it or hop off. Our end goal for Zac to get not 3, but 4 paws on and maybe even sit! Great job, Zaccy boy! Focus: Confidence B+

We recommend your next step should be…
