|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull)||Comment: In his first session, Zac focused on further developing his skill 'loose lead' around the Pet Retreat facility with Tessa. Zac performed very well, he was initially distracted by the environment and Tessa but quickly redirected his focus when the trainer began to incorporate drop. Once engaged Zac performed well, he held good engagement for the remainder of this session.||Focus: Distraction||B+|
|Skill learnt: Drop/ Down||Comment: In his second session, Zac focused on further developing his skill 'drop' around the Pet Retreat facility and in close proximity to Tessa. Zac responds well to the cue drop with a low hand signal, this hand signal was slowly faded as the session progresses. Zac can sit when asked for drop, the trainer simply went back a step and lowered the hand signal to help his understanding. While in drop he shows good duration and distance.||Focus: Distraction||B|
|Skill learnt: Place Training||Comment: In his final session, Zac focused on further developing his skill 'send to place' within the classroom, in close proximity to Tessa. Zac performs well with this skill, he has a good understanding of the command and duration. The trainer challenged him with sending to place at a distance, beginning with 1 step and slowly progressing to 5 meters. When increasing the distance, he can become distracted and stop performing, with some guidance he quickly began to perform well.||Focus: Distance||B+|
