Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."

Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Place Training Comment: Yogi’s first session was place. During this session Yogi also practiced some greetings. Yogi was a little distracted at first and wanted to get off place as the trainer moved. As the session progressed Yogi engaged more and was able to hold place better. As trainers entered the classroom Yogi was able to be released off place and greet the other trainers. The requirements were that he couldn’t jump and he had to sit first. Yogi did a great job and worked hard to be calm to get those pats. At home with place make sure you practice on a lead and keep distractions low. Use family members to practice greetings. Focus: Distraction C+
Skill learnt: Drop/ Down Comment: Next up for Yogi was drop. Yogi still needed a lure to help get in position and still wanted to keep his butt in the air. As the trainer kept up with the repetitions Yogi got better and the trainer was able to increase the duration a little more. Working at home start to fade out the lure while keeping distractions low. Focus: Repetition C+
Skill learnt: Middle Position Comment: Last up for Yogi was middle. He was quiet distracted this session and struggled to focus. As the classroom emptied and had less distractions Yogi was able to engage a little more. His middle skill was great when he focused and the trainer was able to start to fade the lure. Again keep distractions low when fading the lure. Focus: Repetition B
