Woody's Doggy Dayschool Report

It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.

Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."

Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull) Comment: This session focused on his loose lead and emergency drops during open hours (for people and dog distractions). Woody did well, he is getting quicker at his drops but the trainer still has to slow down quite a bit to help him get into position. If we kept walking at normal pace while saying "drop" he would just keep walking with us. Keep working on this, making your movements progressively quicker each time you ask for the drop. Focus: Distraction B+
Skill learnt: Place Training Comment: We practiced his place training with Bo Peep in the other corner. The trainer was able to run around with a broom being an absolute clown doing lots of super high energy movements. Woody just watched, occasionally letting out a little bark but nothing bad. He even held place when the trainer dropped a bucket of toys in between them both! Make sure to be firm with them, one person holding each lead. Utilise place as it is a strong skill and have strict boundaries. If they are really struggling, create distance and try again! Focus: Distraction B+
Skill learnt: Obstacle Course (Confidence Building) Comment: We had lots of fun this session! Woody raced around the course (the trainer struggled to keep up) and had an absolute ball! To finish the session of we practiced his drop durations (he was pretty tired) on the grass. While he held his drops he was tethered so the trainer could create distance as well! He did so well today! Focus: Confidence A+
