Winston's Doggy Dayschool Report

It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.

Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."

Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Exposure Comment: For his very first session today we went exploring around the property. This allowed him to discover things in his new environment and also work on focus with the trainer. He is a very brave boy and put his nose to good use. Focus: Distraction B
Skill learnt: Drop/ Down Comment: We worked on his drops for his second session in the classroom. There were two other high energy dogs in the classroom but he was very engaged the entire time. He broke position a couple times at the start but after a while he would wait patiently. He still requires the hand signal but the signal was smaller towards the end of the session. To improve this, repetition with a verbal cue will be vital. Focus: Distraction C+
Skill learnt: Place Training Comment: For Winstons last session today we worked on his place training. This is great thing to teach because you can tell them place and then do what you need to do. The idea is that they have all four paws on the raised bed. He was quite hesitant to start with and would stretch as far as he could to reach the lure. But after a while he stepped onto it and then put all four on the bed. He did very well with this but needs some work. Repetition with this is key! Focus: Distraction C+

We recommend your next step should be…
