|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Engagement||Comment: For her first session we concentrated on engagement with the trainer and spent time making her comfortable in the kennel environment. She was a little timid to start and would not take treats, but this improved with patience and persistence. Well done Winnie! Use every opportunity at home to expose her things she is timid of, and support her through that process to make her more confident.||Focus: Confidence||C|
|Skill learnt: Conditioning||Comment: Second session was similar to the first in that we walked around the facility, giving her a 'sniffari' and allowing her to increase her familiarity with the environment. She also started to take treats which is a good indication she is getting more comfortable.||Focus: Conditioning||C+|
|Skill learnt: Desensitisation||Comment: For her final session Winnie spent time outside with plenty of other dogs around doing a few basic obedience skills and definitely taking treatos. She was much more comfortable and allowed lots of pats and cuddles. Such a good effort for her first day in what can be a scary plcae||Focus: Desensitisation||B+|
