Willa did very well today for her first day school!
It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.
Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Conditioning||Comment: Session one for Willa we started with engagement games to begin. Willa had very low engagement and didn’t pay any attention to the trainer. She wasn’t taking any treats or listening to her name. The trainer sat with her and rewarded her for listening to her name with pats. The trainer also used a squeaky toy to gain attention and rewarded her for eye contact.||Focus: Conditioning||X|
|Skill learnt: Place Training||Comment: Session two we started introducing her to the skill “place” this will help her have a place to relax and settle as well as being a safe place for her to go. The trainer started by luring Willa into place with a toy (due to not taking treats) Willa was then rewarded with pats and then released. This was repeated throughout the session to set a foundation on the skill.||Focus: Foundation||B|
|Skill learnt: Middle Position||Comment: For session three with Willa we practiced her skill of “Middles”. The trainer started by using a lure, Willa finally started taking treats!! The trainer lured her under her legs then rewarded with a treat. Willa had high engagement this session following the lure with no problem! The next step for this skill is to decrease the lure and add a verbal cue.||Focus: Foundation||B+|
