Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Drop/ Down Comment: For session one with Wesley we practiced the skill of drops outside with distractions. Wesley had high engagement with the trainer and had great drop duration around distractions. The trainer started to add distance to challenge him. Wesley still continued to do so well, the next step from this skill would be increasing the distractions and distance further Focus: Duration A
Skill learnt: Paws Up (on object) Comment: For Wesley’s second session we practiced the skill of paws up. Wesley did extremely well and was super confident. Throughout the session the trainer increased the intensity of the objects, from stools to different sized wobble boards. Wesley did so well and had high engagement and showed close to no struggles with all the objects throughout the session. Focus: Foundation A+
Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull) Comment: For session three we practiced the skill of loose lead outside. With high distractions, there was workers doing the lawn mowing around the facility. Wesley continued to do very well and had high engagement with the trainer throughout the session. The next step on for this skill would be adding higher distractions for Wesley and adding drops to break it up. Focus: Distraction A+
