Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Place Training Comment: Waffle started his day with his place skill. We had pancake in the room to which proved to be a big distraction for him. At first, waffle was happy to step on place but he was quick to step off before his release word. After some repetition, waffle was happy to stay on the bed until release. We then added some movement and distance to test him, with waffle sleeping off every now and then but staying on the majority if the time Focus: Repetition B
Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull) Comment: Waffle worked on his loose lead skills. We started in the classroom, with waffle studying right by his trainer's side. We then made our way outside to keep pushing the skill. Waffle hit the end of the lead a few times but spent a good amount if the lesson by his trainer. Focus: Obedience B+
Skill learnt: Recall Comment: We finished work his recall skill in the classroom. Waffle lost his engagement this lesson, not showing any interest in treats. He came back about half the time when called, although losing his attention when he came back. We practiced luring him into a sit in front of the trainer consistently when he came back. Focus: Obedience C+
