|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull)||Comment: For Vishnu first session the trainer worked on loose lead with distraction. At first Vishnu pulled towards the food but settled into the exercise after a few walk bys the food. LL walking is so important to enable a calm walking experience. Next time the trainer would like to see Vishnu not pull at all to towards the food. This is something that you can work on at home. Start with backyard, front yard and continue to increase the distractions. Vishnu was also on place whilst the trainer worked with other dogs and Vishnu did extremely well at this.||Focus: Distraction||B+|
|Skill learnt: Place Training||Comment: Vishnu’s second session focused on place training with distraction. Vishnu does have a good grasp of this skill and only broke a couple of times for food. The trainer would like to see Vishnu not breaking at all. This skill can be worked on at home while you are watching TV or in the kitchen. Keep him on a lead and direct him back with a uh uh when he breaks.||Focus: Distraction||B|
|Skill learnt: Muzzle Conditioning||Comment: Muzzle training was the focus for the last session. Vishnu knew what he had to do to get that treat with the muzzle. So the trainer worked on duration with the muzzle. Vishnu needed to keep his muzzle on his nose for longer periods of time before he got a treat. This will help enable you to get the muzzle done up without him pulling away. This can be practiced at home so that he keeps his nose in the muzzle for longer and longer periods of time.||Focus: Conditioning||C+|
