Vinney loved his training today, especially his artwork he helped to create! His skills are progressing nicely but need just a bit more work to get them really solid.
It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.
Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!
"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."

|Skill learnt: Trick Training||Comment: For this session we conditioned Vinney to the treat & train to help with his training at home. It took a few goes for him to understand the machine and take the treats but for most of the session he was happily eating the treats from the machine and didn't seem concerned at all about the beep. He did get easily distracted by another dog in the room though and would have to be shown the treats a few times. We also worked on conditioning the beep as a marker as Vinney shows no understanding of the connection between the beep and treats. Next time we'd like to see him have a better understanding of the treat & train machine so that we can use it in trick training for him. At home use the treat & train machine to condition Vinney to the beep=treats concept to help strengthen the marker.||Focus: Desensitisation||B+|
|Skill learnt: Middle Position||Comment: For this session we continued work on Vinney's peekaboo skill. He follows a lure easily but doesn't quite do it on command yet or from different positions. The focus of this session was to get him comfortable with the command and movement of peekaboo which he did quite good at. Next time we'd like to see him not need a lure (of a hand to follow) so that we can start pushing the skill. At home practice peekaboo with a focus of slowly removing the lure.||Focus: Repetition||B|
|Skill learnt: Trick Training||Comment: This week the doggies attended their first art class with the trainers. This involved a session full of enrichment and fun, stimulating the dogs mentally, as well as using the opportunity to condition the environment and make something beautiful to take home.||Focus: Confidence||X|
|Skill learnt: Place Training||Comment: Vinney did great at his passive place training today. He broke once at the start and once near the end but for the most part was happily relaxing on place in the classroom.||Focus: Duration||B+|
