Skill | Comment | We focused on | Grade |
---|---|---|---|
Skill learnt: Drop/ Down | Comment: First session Tyr worked on his drops. Today we worked outside and had him tethered so we could work on his duration whilst increasing distance and distraction level. Tyr did quite well this session, happily staying his drop while his trainer walked 4-5metres away and was running around. He can be slow to drop at times and did break once when another staff member came past but overall did really well! | Focus: Distance | B+ |
Skill learnt: Paws Up (on object) | Comment: Tyrs second session we worked on his Paws Up, initially he was a bit reluctant to put both paws on the pod and only put one on. After some repetition he was quickly putting both paws on, holding his duration and engaging well with the trainer. He loves his paws up! | Focus: Repetition | B |
Skill learnt: Trick Training | Comment: Final session we worked on Tyrs button push trick. Today he was super interested in the button right away so we incorporated some play to help get him excited and engaging. This helped his engagement alot he began pressing the button a couple of times. | Focus: Repetition | C+ |
