Tyr was super happy to be back at Day School and we were excited to see the happy boy!
It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.
Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!
"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."
|We focused on
|Skill learnt: Drop/ Down
|Comment: First session we worked on Tyrs drop skill. We had him tethered while the trainer moved around the classroom, other trainers moving about near by and using lots of toys and high energy movement as distractions. Tyr did well holding his drop he didn’t break for any of these distractions. He is a bit slow to go into his drops and can get a bit distracted but overall doing well.
|Skill learnt: Trick Training
|Comment: Second session Tyr worked on his button push trick. He was a bit cheeky to start and just nosed at the button. The trainer helped him out by pushing the button a few times and getting Tyr really excited and from there he started to hit the button with his paw a few times. He tends to push the button in short bursts of repetitive presses and then loses interest for a few minutes and then comes back to pushing the button again.
|Skill learnt: Middle Position
|Comment: For Tyrs final session we worked on his middles. Initially he kept defaulting to a drop so we went back to basics using a lure and after a couple repetitions Tyr was back in action and coming into position from the verbal cue. We used our hand as a guide to begin adding movement to this skill.
We recommend your next step should be…
A: Outstanding (90 – 100%) I understand my training, Neat & Complete! Ready to move on to higher difficulty & distraction
B: Great Work (80-89%) I mostly understand, Almost neat & complete! Needs practice in some areas. Mild distractions
C: Well Done (70-79%) Some good progress. Needs work, but on my way. Still learning. Low distractions.
D: Beginning (60-69%) My journey is just beginning, I don’t understand just yet. Introduction phase. No distraction.
E: Unable to Progress. Needs major focus, seek further options to assist.
X: Not gradable, the focus was on Enrichment, Socialisation & Engagement.
