Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Place Training Comment: Tyr began his day practicing his ‘place training’, working on his duration with trainer, dog and toy distractions. He did AMAZING! He broke once or twice at the beginning, but with the use of “ah ah” he would hop back onto place. Keep pushing this skill with him at home, particularly with a squeaky toy as that was his biggest distraction! Focus: Distraction B+
Skill learnt: Drop/ Down Comment: Next up, Tyr worked on his ‘drop’ skill in the classroom with another dog distraction. Tyr did so well! Again at first he was being a tad cheeky and would just sit instead of dropping, but after a few reps he got back into the rhythm of things and dropped each time the trainer asked him to. Keep pushing his distractions at home to challenge him more! Focus: Distraction B+
Skill learnt: Paws Up (on object) Comment: Tyr ended the day doing ‘paws up’ around lots of doggo distractions! He did awesome and although was watching intently, his focus was always on the trainer when needed. His duration and confidence on the wobble board has improved heaps! Keep testing him at home with any object you see fit! So proud! Focus: Distraction A
