Tycho's Doggy Dayschool Report

2021-02-04

It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.

Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."

Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Drop/ Down Comment: RLGL drop: Tycho listened well when chasing the trainer around so we used the flirt pole for maximum distraction and engagement. He listened well about 50% of the time, the rest of the time he took a while to get into the drop position. Needs more work so that he can drop under any distractions. Focus: Distraction B
Skill learnt: Trick Training Comment: Sit pretty: Tycho has made some good progress on this skill previously. We worked on him maintaining his balance in the position and holding it for a little longer which he did well at. Focus: Repetition B
Skill learnt: Trick Training Comment: Back up: It took a few tries for Tycho to understand what was being asked for him (he would offer drop or sit instead). We worked on using the lure and then using just the hand pressure. He does well when he is focused but still needs a lot of work at this skill. Focus: Repetition C+

We recommend your next step should be…
