Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull) Comment: In her first session, Trinity focused on further developing her skill loose lead in a new environment (oval next door). We focused on this to challenge her engagement under new distractions (3 other dogs training at oval). Trinity was initially very excited to be the at the oval and struggled to engage with her trainer. However as the session progressed she began to redirect her focus and perform well. Focus: Distraction C+
Skill learnt: Sit Comment: In her second session, Trinity focused on further developing her skill sit in the classroom. We focused on this skill to build herunderstanding. Trinity was initially distracted and struggled to respond to the cue sit, the trainer used a lure to her guide her into a sit. This worked well, Trinity began to sit even when the lure was faded. Focus: Back to Basics C
Skill learnt: Place Training Comment: In her final session, Trinity focused on further developing her skill place focusing on relaxation. Trinity initially required a lure to go onto the bed, however this was quickly faced as the session progressed. While on the bed the trainer was rewarding her for duration and relaxation (sitting or lying down). Trinity settled quickly sitting down. We would recommend continuing to practise this skills at home. Focus: Manners C+

We recommend your next step should be…
