Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull) Comment: In his first session, Trex focused on further developing his skill loose lead within the classroom with another dog nearby to reduce his leash reactivity. Trex performed very well, he was initially distracted by the other dog but quickly redirected his focus to perform well. Throughout this whole session, he showed no signs of reactivity towards the other dog or people within the classroom. Focus: Distraction B+
Skill learnt: Drop/ Down Comment: In his second session, Trex focused on further developing his skill drop inside the classroom and outside. We focused on this skill to build his duration under distractions. In both environments, Trex was challenged by multiple people and dogs walking past. Trex performed very well, he initially struggled to hold duration but as the session progressed he began to perform well. He successfully held his drop while dogs and people walked passed. Focus: Duration B
Skill learnt: Paws Up (on object) Comment: In his final session, Trex focused on further building his confidence using the big wobble board. Trex performed well, he quickly interacted with the wobble board, placing his front paws onto it. As he was performing so well the trainer challenged him with placing all four paws onto the wobble board. He initially struggled but as the session progressed he began to walk over the wobble board and balance on it with four paws for a short time. Focus: Confidence B+
