Trex did really well today! He had great engagement and was not fussed by the other doggos he worked in the classroom with.
It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.
Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!
"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."
|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Drop/ Down||Comment: Trex began his day practicing his ‘drop’ skill, focusing on building his duration while having another dog around. He did pretty well! The trainer still needed to use a heavy lure for his drops, but he followed them nicely. Once in his drop, he did struggle to remain in position if there was too much movement or noises. Keep working on this at home but continue with low level distractions so we are able to build a stronger base for his drops before moving to higher level distractions. He also showed no fearfulness towards the other dog this session and was normal!||Focus: Duration||B|
|Skill learnt: Paws Up (on object)||Comment: Next up, Trex worked on his ‘paws up’ skill using our big wobble board, focusing on building his confidence more in the classroom. He did AMAZING!! For the most of the session he would only put 2 paws on or walk over it, but by the end Trex was able to walk on it, to then sit on it with ease. Keep up the awesome work at home and challenge him with more objects, smaller or bigger! Great work, Trex!||Focus: Confidence||A|
|Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull)||Comment: To finish off, Trex practiced his ‘loose lead’ walking in the classroom with multiple dog distractions, he did really well! He kept great engagement with the trainer and did no show any un-ordinary behaviour towards the other dogs. Keep pushing him with his loose lead at home and increase his distraction levels. Awesome work today, Trex!||Focus: Distraction||B+|
