Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull) Comment: For her first session we worked on Tink's loose lead skill. She was pretty good at this skill though she does lack engagement and wasn't interested in treats during the session. We took her through the cattery for added distraction which she did really well with. Back in the classroom another dog in a crate was barking at her but she showed no reactivity back which is awesome! At home practice her loose lead around some distractions and practice her drops while walking for a quick control position. Focus: Distraction B+
Skill learnt: Place Training Comment: For her second session we worked on place around another dog. Tink did really well with this added difficulty - while she was watchful of the other dog she was able to maintain good engagement with the trainer. Initially she broke place often but as the session progressed we were able to build her duration and start doing movement distractions (which she did great with). At home work on building up the distractions and sending her to place from a distance. Focus: Distraction B
Skill learnt: Drop/ Down Comment: For her last session we worked on her drop duration. She needed a low hand signal to go into drop but once down she only broke once from it. Whether she was in the zone or just tired, she did a great job with this! With her duration doing well start building up the distraction levels with movement while she maintains her drop. Focus: Duration B+

We recommend your next step should be…
