Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Drop/ Down Comment: Session one with Tilly we started with her skill of drop. The trainer used greetings as a distraction method. Tilly did start off really unsettled and lacked engagement. Although after a few repetitions and corrections she settled. Tilly really struggles with distractions with movement with the trainer so that’s what was worked on throughout the session. Although Tilly did struggle a little she did really good concidering there was other dogs training in the room. Focus: Distraction B+
Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull) Comment: Session two with Tilly we practiced her skill of loose lead with drops. We practiced this skill in the cattery to add higher distractions. Tilly did very well at both her loose lead and drops! This is so good to see! Although she struggled towards the end of the session she did very well throughout Focus: Distraction B+
Skill learnt: Drop/ Down Comment: Session three with Tilly we practiced her skill of door manners. Tilly did struggle to begin with although after some corrections she gained better engagement and preformed great door manners throughout the kennels and cattery! Focus: Manners B
