|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Recall||Comment: Session one with Tilly we practiced her skill of recall. The trainer waited until Tilly was distracted before calling her name. When Tilly looked at the trainer and followed her she was then rewarded. Tilly did very well inside so the trainer moved her recall outside for the remainder of the session. Tilly did struggle to begin with but had great engagement with the trainer towards the end of the session.||Focus: Distraction||B|
|Skill learnt: Drop/ Down||Comment: Session two with Tilly we practiced her skill of drop in the classroom. The trainer used high distractions including ball, dog and people. Tilly did very well! She did not break for any distractions! She did start the session a little reactive towards other dogs training although she didn’t break the drop. The trainer increased the rewards when other dogs were around, this made Tilly have better engagement and no reactivity. Tilly did extremely well in her session of drops. The next step for this skill would be to continue with dog distractions.||Focus: Distraction||B+|
|Skill learnt: Place Training||Comment: Session three with Tilly we practiced her place skill. Tilly did struggle with her duration although with frequent rewards she had better engagement and duration. This session had dog distractions while other dogs were training, Tilly did very well and had no reactivity.||Focus: Distraction||A|
