|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Place Training||Comment: In his first session, Teddy focused on learning the new skill 'place' within the classroom environment (two dogs training within the classroom). We focused on this skill to build his impulse control surrounding other dogs. Teddy performed well, he walked on and off the bed happily. Initially, he was not taking treats, however as the session progressed he began to relax and take the yummy treats. Once on the bed, he can struggle with duration but shows good progress throughout the session.||Focus: Foundation||C+|
|Skill learnt: Drop/ Down||Comment: In his second session, Teddy focused on learning the new skill 'drop' within the classroom around another dog training. We focused on this skill to improve his decision making around other dogs. Teddy performed well, he showed no knowledge of the skill but followed a lure into the position well. Once in drop he does struggle with duration, this did progress well throughout the season.||Focus: Foundation||C+|
|Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull)||Comment: In his final session, Teddy focused on learning the new skill 'loose lead' within the classroom. Teddy was initially distracted and struggled to engage and follow the trainer. As the session progressed the trainer used treats to redirect his focus. Teddy did complete several minutes of loose lead showing good engagement.||Focus: Foundation||C|
