Teddy started off with some great skills but did become tired easily today. Keep working on his skills at home to increase his stamina.
It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.
Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!
"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."
|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull)||Comment: For his first session we took Teddy into the carpark to work on his loose lead skill. Teddy does quite well with this skill but does tend to lack engagement with the trainer while walking. While he ate the treats he wasn't super into them so using different motivators (different food or toys) may help him be more focused while training.||Focus: Distraction||B|
|Skill learnt: Drop/ Down||Comment: For his second session we worked on Teddy's drop under different distraction levels. Teddy did a fantastic job with this! He only broke once during the whole session and we tested him with weird sounds, toys, food, skateboards and the trainer running around and walking over him while in drop. Keep up the great work at home and keep using those distractions to bomb-proof this skill!||Focus: Distraction||A|
|Skill learnt: Targeting (touch)||Comment: For his last session we worked on touch/target with Teddy to try and improve his engagement. Teddy was a bit tired by this session and was not very focused on touching the wooden spoon. He managed a few attempts before he just started ignoring it, even when it was in front of his face. We kept it simple for the remainder of the session and just finished off with drop duration.||Focus: Foundation||C|
