Teddy's Doggy Dayschool Report

It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.

Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."

Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Spin Comment: In his first session, Teddy focused on further developing his skill ‘spin’ while also conditioning to Barney. Teddy can struggle with this skill, although he does follow a lure well into the spin. As the session progressed this lure was slowly faded, however after a few repetitions he did stop following the lure. The trainer gave Teddy a little break on place, after this he continued to follow the lure. Focus: Foundation C+
Skill learnt: Paws Up (on object) Comment: In his second session, Teddy focused on further developing his skill ‘paws up’ while conditioning to Barney. Teddy performed very well, he interacted with the step straight away, placing his two front feet onto it. The trainer was slowly able to reduce to lure and begin adding the verbal cue. Focus: Foundation B+
Skill learnt: Place Training Comment: Teddy was also challenged with remaining on passive place while the trainer worked with Barney. Teddy was perfect, he did not break place despite Barney playing and being excited. Focus: Obedience A+
Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull) Comment: In his final session, Teddy focused on further developing his skill ‘loose lead’ walking while outside near Barney. Teddy performed well, he can walk ahead at times but overall shows good engagement and walking skills. Teddy ignored Barney, despite the proximity between them. Focus: Distraction B+
