Tayo had the best day! He smashed his recalls and was such a happy boy!
It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.
Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!
"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."
|We focused on
|Skill learnt: Recall
|Comment: First session Tayo worked on his recall. Today we worked outside using a long line. Tayo did really well this session, speedily recalling in from free liberty and from control positions. To help challenge him further we attached a second long line to increase the distance, the only challenge with Tayos recall is he loves to stick close to the trainer so we threw treats to send him away from us to then recall him back. Keep adding distractions at home to strengthen further.
|Skill learnt: Middle Position
|Comment: Tayos second session we worked on his middles. After some lured attempts at the start to build his focus he was responding well to the verbal. We used lures to help encourage him to walk forwards in middles and increase his duration in the skill. Tayo was able to walk across the whole classroom and around in a circle while in this skill. He is showing great progress.
|Skill learnt: Paws Up (on object)
|Comment: Final session Tayo had some fun with paws up. He was quite bouncy this session trying to bounce up onto the pod and missing, we used treats to help settle him and lure him to where he needs to be. He got the hang of it in the end and we began to build some duration in the skill. This skill is great for some fun and can help build rear end awareness

D: Beginning (60-69%) My journey is just beginning, I don’t understand just yet. Introduction phase. No distraction.
E: Unable to Progress. Needs major focus, seek further options to assist.
X: Not gradable, the focus was on Enrichment, Socialisation & Engagement.
